The neighbor's wife was better than his own, causing the young man to have distorted thoughts and then seduce the new neighbor's wife while he was on a business trip. The wife, thirsty for love, was probably fed up with her husband being so physically weak and only had sex after a few clicks, so she agreed to have sex with that healthy young man just like in the movie.
